STUMP
prev I next
Temperance Street, (west of Bay Street), Toronto I The Bay Adelaide Tower was designed by WZMH architects in the 1980's. (I still remember the pyramid top from the renderings!) Construction halted in 1993 when the recession hit the Toronto office market, leaving the concrete elevator tower only 8 stories tall. A new building is now proposed for the site, and demolition of the stump has started.
