Wat Arun, Bangkok, Thailand I Named after the Indian god of dawn, Wat Arun is the one of the three main temple complexes in Bangkok. The 82 metre tall tower (prang) was completed in th 19th century and holds a prominent position on the river across from the Grand Palace.
